West Ham star ends unflattering run during Huddersfield victory

West Ham managed to record a much needed 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Monday. In the process, Joe Hart managed to keep a clean sheet, for the first time in 23 games

His last shut-out happened in January of this year while he was on the books of Italian side Torino on loan.

The win could be a much needed confidence boost for Hart. Though the 30-year-old retained his place as first choice England keeper for the most recent World Cup qualifiers, many fans were calling for him to be replaced by either Jack Butland or Tom Heaton going forward.

For the Terriers, the game marked their first loss in Premier League football after they got off to a good start after recording several points from their opening three games.

In regards to the Hammers, the win presents a much needed three points after they lost their opening three games and conceded ten goals in the process.
