Not many Rangers players were involved in action during the international break, so one could be forgiven for failing to catch under-21 defender Myles Beerman in action for Malta under-21 on Tuesday.
The Gers youngster, who played 7 Scottish Premiership games last term scored a worldy against Hungray under-21 in Group 6 of the UEFA U21 Championships qualifiers.
Beerman dummied 3 defenders as he cut inside from the left into the box to shoot beyond the reach of the goalie into the far corner of the net.
The former Manchester City helped draw Malta level, but it wasn’t enough in the end as they eventually lost 2-1.

The result leaves Malta bottom of the group 6 having also lost against Cyprus on Friday in their 2nd game.
Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha would definitely keep a keen eye on the 18-year-old Maltese, who arrived Ibrox from Manchester City on last summer’s transfer deadline day.
Beerman can also play as a left winger, and is highly rated back home having already debuted for the Malta senior national team.
His cracker showed he definitely should be given another chance to prove himself with the big boys this term.
Here are some of the reactions his goal generated on Twitter.
Deserved more these past 2 games conceding 2 goals in the last few minutes of the game but that’s football. Happy with my goal ⚽️?? #under21 pic.twitter.com/cscWs161lb
