As per The Scottish Sun, Rangers still retain interest in securing the services of Motherwell striker Louis Moult having failed with a summer bid.
Gers could make another move on the 25-year-old come January, as he is able to sign a pre-contract ahead of a free summer switch by then having rejected a contract extension offer.
The Ibrox outfit aren’t the only club likely to come for his signature in the winter transfer window.
Hibernian and Aberdeen are also still very much in pursuit of Moult, while Championship sides Millwall and Brentford plus League One Blackburn are reported to be keeping tabs on the Stoke City youth product.
Manager Pedro Caixinha could do with more attacking firepower next season, with Rangers sure to further strengthen their side as they hope to wrestle the Scottish Premiership title away from Celtic’s firm grip.
In Moult, they would be getting exactly just that. The English forward has 32 goals in his 73 league games for Well, and can even get better around the quality team Caixinha is building.
Despite being likely to be available for free next term, Moult’s chances of signing for Rangers aren’t the highest, as he would put a lot of factors, including playing time into consideration before choosing his next club.
