El Turco decided to save his key players for Tuesday’s Copa Libertadores match against San Jose, and fielded 8 “alternate” players to the home match against Atlante. Well, those “alternate” players knew that a win was needed, and they did just that, defeating Atlante 2-0 at the Estadio Caliente. The Xolos “B” players did get a little help from Duvier Riascos, who came on as a sub late in the game and sealed the win with a goal.
