Leeds United have had a very busy summer. After moving on from manager Garry Monk, they have done all sorts of business. The number of players signed has been staggering, totaling 17 in all.
To assess just how well they have done, we will first have to look at how they began the season. The Championship has started well for Leeds, who are one of just three teams to have an unbeaten record at this point.
Leeds United sit in third place after three wins and two draws, and despite the great start, they will know that they have a lot of room for improvement.
The signings of Alioski and Samu Saiz have been the top two thus far, but others have also made an impact. The signing of goalkeeper Felix Wiedewald was a particularly big one for them, and it showed real intent to sign a Bundesliga-caliber goalkeeper.
At the end of the day, they will be rated for how well they do come the end of the season but I suspect that they will do quite well when the points are tallied up at the end of the season. For now though, a score of an ‘A’ is about right for them!
