Football pundit Rodney Marsh says he still believes that Everton are not a top half team.
The Toffees were very active in the transfer market this summer bringing in the likes of Cuco Martina, Jordan Pickford, Wayne Rooney, Sandro Ramirez, Davy Klaassen and Michael Keane.
Many fans are confident that the current team has what it takes to finish in the top six this season and possibly challenge for a place in the Champions League.
Thus far, the Merseyside club have had a mixed bag of fortunes though having won one game, drawn one and lost one which was against Chelsea this weekend. They did, however claim a creditable draw against Manchester City.
Marsh has now taken to Twitter in the aftermath of the Toffees defeat to Antonio Conte’s men to state that he has not changed his mind about Everton’s prospects for this season and said, “Not one to say I told you so but my prediction Everton will finish in bottom half looking good.”
