Everton reportedly will the sanction the transfer of 27-year-old for £8million

According to reports, Everton are willing to sell striker Oumar Niasse for £8 million, with the player said to have attracted the interest of Brighton and Hove Albion.

Though Niasse played impressively during a loan spell with Hull last season, he has never scored a goal for the Toffees and is seemingly surplus to requirements at the Merseyside club who are looking to offload him in order to get his £80,000-a-week salary off their wage bill.

After having recently pulled out of signing Zurich star Raphael Dwamena, Brighton are said to be monitoring Niasse as they look to bolster their forward options for this season.

Chris Hughton knows that he will need to bolster his team if they are to survive in the Premier League this season.

Considering that Niasse is being made available for relatively cheap and has scored goals in the top flight before, signing him could be a good choice for Brighton.
