Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson believes that the form of Mark Noble is one of the biggest problems for West Ham at the moment.
The Hammers have begun the season in poor form and have lost all three of the Premier League games that they have played thus far.
Club captain Noble has failed to deliver impressive performances nor has he improved upon his disappointing form from last season.
Though Lawrenspn does admit that Noble is a good captain, he thinks that the 30-year-old no longer has the pace to compete in the Premier League and believes that the East London club has been too kind to him.
Whilst discussing the situation, Lawrenson said, “Last year the recruitment was poor, this year it’s great. I think one of the biggest problems now is Mark Noble. He’s been such a good player, but if you watch him now, I think his legs have gone.”
