High profile 57-year-old favourite to take over at West Ham

Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez has been listed as the favorite to become the new West Ham boss given that Slaven Bilic’s future is currently the subject of speculation.

The Hammers were consigned to their third successive defeat of this season, coincidently against the Benitez led Magpies themselves on Saturday and Bilic has since been criticized.

The East London club have thus far not registered a point as they have lost all of their games and have conceded a massive ten goals in the process.

They did bring in experienced campaigners during the summer such as Marko Arnautovic, Joe Hart, Javier Hernandez and Pablo Zabaleta and apart from Hernandez; the trio have thus far been unable to have a positive effect on the team’s results.

According to popular bookmakers SkyBet, Bilic is the 8/5 favorite to be the first manager to be sacked this season while Benitez has also been listed as the 5/2 favorite to replace him as manager.
