Leeds United boss indicates new attacker could arrive at Elland Road

Leeds United coach Thomas Christensen indicated that his club will try to sign another attacking player this summer.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Spanish manager state that he will try to add one more striker to the Peacocks roster in order to increase the depth in those positions.

Currently, the club from Elland Road has Jay Roy Grot and Kemar Roofe upfront, and also Caleb Ekuban, who is injured at the moment.

”We have to see what is the exact situation or type of player we want to bring. I will speak with Victor and Andrea and see what we will do.” Christiansen had to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Leeds United’s main target was Rudy Gestede, but eventually, Middlesborough declined the offer worth £6 million.

After Chris Wood signed with Burnley, the Peacocks have an empty space up front which needs to be filled.
