Aston Villa reportedly plotting loan move for Premier League attacker

According to reports, Aston Villa are looking to sign West Ham midfielder Robert Snodgrass on loan until the end of the season.

Snodgrass arrived at the Hammers in January following an impressive first half of last season with Hull City.

He was expected to add creativity to Slaven Bilic’s side following the departure of Dimitri Payet but failed as he did not find the back of the net from 15 Premier League matches.

He is surplus to requirements at the East London club this season, having not been named in any of the clubs match day squads so far.

Snodgrass has plenty of experience in the Championship as well as in the Premiership. He will be a good addition to Steve Bruce’s Villa side, who have so far been underwhelming in their Championship performances.

The Scotsman could add much needed experience and quality into the Villains team which could help kick-start their season.
