According to reports, Serie A club Lazio have turned down the chance to sign Diafra Sakho from West Ham.
Following the arrivals of Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez at the East London club this summer, Sakho has fallen down the pecking order and has been restricted to cameo appearances during the club’s first two League games of the season.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic confirmed that his club will be very active in terms of welcoming new players into their setup as well as offloading players and it is likely that the Senegal international Sakho is one of the players that they will look to let go.
Sakho joined West Ham from FC Metz in 2014 and till date the 27-year-old has notched 20 goals in all competitions from 56 appearances for the club.
His progress was curtailed by injury last season and it will be hard to see him gaining regular playing time should he remain at the club.
