According to reports, Newcastle are looking to sign Liverpool forward Danny Ings.

The Tyneside club are in desperate need of a new striker to provide competition and support to Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic following the departures of Daryl Murphy and Adam Armstrong.
As he only managed six goals last season, Mitrovic is also not the ideal option for the club and the Serbian has been linked with a move away from the club.
Ings managed just two appearances in all competitions for the Reds last season due to injury and it remains to be seen whether he will move or remain at Anfield in order to regain his fitness. Newcastle will have some serious convincing to do if they wish to sign him.
