Crystal Palace reportedly fail with a bid for 30-year-old

According to reports, West Ham have rejected a bid from Crystal Palace for goalkeeper Adrian.

Adrian will start the season as second choice goalkeeper following the arrival of Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City and he was said to be keen on moving to Palace.

Slaven Bilic’s team reportedly rejected an offer of £3.5 million for the Spanish international Adrian and it remains to be seen if they will come back with another offer.

The Hammers signed Adrian from Real Betis in 2013 and he has played regularly ever since.

The Spanish international was particularly impressive during the 2015/16 season during which his performances helped guide the East London club to a seventh place finish in the Premier League.

After some high-profile errors during the first half of last season though, the 30-year-old lost the first choice position to Darren Randolph.

He did manage to win back the position towards the end of the season after Randolph’s performances were less than convincing but has lost the spot once again following Hart’s arrival
