Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has said that his side will only get better following their impressive 1-0 win over Middlesbrough during their first game of the Championship season.
Leo Bonatini’s first half strike was sufficient to secure a 1-0 win for Nuno’s side at Molineux.
Though Boro boss Garry Monk felt that his team deserved a point from the game, Nuno felt that his side fully deserved the win.
The Portuguese manager said, “It was a tough game and in the first half we played very well. We controlled the game and this is the way we should work.
“I think that we deserved the three points and we are pleased with the boys. We are still not the final product and every game will be better. This is the line that we want from the boys, always progress, always get better.”
Wolves are aiming to launch promotion push this season and have spent heavily recruiting the likes of Ryan Bennett, Roderick Miranda, Ruben Neves as John Ruddy as they aim to achieve their goal.
