Everton to miss out on 20-year-old attacker with Serie A move reportedly on the cards

Everton won’t be getting the chance to land Borussia Dortmund forward Emre Mor, according to Transfermarketweb.

According to the winger’s agent Mustafa Ozcan, “Emre is about to join Italy. We met both Napoli and AS Roma, and he’ll definitely join one out of those two. Everything will be clearer in a few days.”

Following just 5 Bundesliga starts in his debut season with Dortmund, Mor is seeking regular football elsewhere, and Everton amongst others indicated interest in having him sign on for them.

His versatility; as he’s able to play in as many as 6 positions couldn’t help him secure a considerable number of playing minutes, but given the love of Toffees boss Ronald Koeman for versatile players, a swoop for the 20-year-old appeared likely.

With Yannick Bolasie still out of action until December, Everton could do with another dribbling expert of a wideman in Mor next term.

The passing and crossing abilities of the Turkey international fit the Merseysiders’ playing pattern to a tee, and snapping him up could have been great for both parties.

However, that won’t be happening this summer, and Everton will have to look elsewhere if they desire to land a winger.
