Liverpool reportedly at risk of losing £34million star to Chinese-owned European giants

According to The Daily Express, Liverpool have another battle on their hands as Inter Milan are preparing a £35million bid for Senegal international forward Sadio Mane.

The 25-year-old speed-merchant arrived Anfield from Southampton last summer for £34 million on a 5-year contract, and has already renewed Premier League title hopes in Reds fans due to his head-turning performances.

It is why he has caught the eyes of Inter Milan, who would without a doubt go the extramile of offering him a better pay-package to lure him to the San Siro.

It’s certain that Liverpool will be turning down Inter’s bid, but the Serie A giants won’t be giving up easily on Mane.

With the immediate future of Philippe Coutinho at the club still not guaranteed, the thoughts of losing another key member of his starting XI could give boss Jurgen Klopp nightmares.

Last season, Sadio Mane picked up the Liverpool Player of the Season award whilst also landing himself a spot in the 2016–17 PFA Team of the Year following 13 league goals and 5 assists in 27 appearances.

Inter want to make a statement of intent by making some marquee signings and rivaling Milan in the transfer market, but it appears they have picked the “wrong” man to target this time.
