Tottenham reportedly lead Premier League giants in the race for 24-year-old

According to popular bookmakers BetStars, Tottenham Hotspur lead Manchester United in the race to sign PSG defender Serge Aurier. Aurier is likely to leave the French giants this summer after not taking part in the club’s pre-season matches.

Paul Pogba is said to have encouraged United into becoming interested in the player. However according to the bookies odds, Spurs are the favorites to land the Ivory Coast international with odds of 7/4.

Spurs need reinforcements at the back following the departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City and Aurier will be a good addition to the team as they look to challenge for major silverware during the upcoming season.

All the talk in the last 24 hours has been about Serge Aurier’s supposed move from PSG,” BetStars director Ian Marmion said, “But our odds tell a very different story!

“Despite rumours of a bid from Old Trafford, Spurs are the current favourites to sign Aurier at 7/4, ahead of Manchester United at 2/1.”
