According to reports, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has identified Everton star Ross Barkley as a long term replacement for Moussa Dembele.
The North London club are concerned that the 30-year-old Dembele may not be able to cope with the intensity of Premier League football over the coming years.
He has been playing regular football since he was 19 and many feel that he may not want to continue competing at the highest level in the near future.
Barkley is almost definitely going to leave Everton this summer after he rejected the chance to sign a new contract with the club and manager Ronald Koeman even recently indicated that the player will 100% be sold this summer.
The 23-year-old Barkley has just one more year left on his current contract and the Toffees have reportedly valued him at £50 million, which will likely not be met.
