According to reports, Aston Villa are struggling to sell Ross McCormack as the striker’s bad-boy reputation is putting off potential bidders.
The 30-year-old was initially thought to be given a fresh lease on life with the Villains earlier in the summer, however after he was left out of the clubs pre-season trip to Germany, it looks as if they are looking to sell him this summer.
McCormack arrived at Villa Park from Fulham last summer for £12 million on a four year deal.
He managed just three goals for the club and after infuriating Steve Bruce due to his attitude and fitness, was shipped out on loan to Nottingham Forest for the second half of last term.
Though he is one of the most experienced strikers in the Championship, McCormack’s reputation is a put-off to many potential clubs. He may however, manage to find a loan deal late on in the transfer window.
