Tottenham could be set for a cash windfall if Everton manage to land Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea, according to the Sun.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is looking to add the Iceland international Sigurdsson to his squad as the Merseysiders look to challenge for a place in the top four next season.
Koeman has already seen a £40 million bid made by his club for the 27-year-old Sigurdsson rejected by the Swans, with the Welsh outfit demanding £50 million to part ways with one of their most influential players.
Should Sigurdsson depart to Goodison Park, Tottenham could be set to receive a £5 million bonus which was agreed upon when they sold the player to Swansea in 2014. He was sold for a nominal fee as the transfer also saw Michel Vorm and Ben Davies move to Spurs.
Given that Sigurdsson was left out of the Swans pre-season tour of North America, it looks likely that a deal to Everton could be set to take place and Tottenham stand to benefit.
