Sunderland manager Simon Grayson has revealed that he is impressive by his club’s new recruit Tyias Browning and added that he feels that the player is ready for first team action.
Browning made his debut during the Black Cats 3-0 loss against St. Johnstone and has started during the clubs wins over Hartlepool and Bradford.
Browning will face competition for the right back position at his new club and will have to compete against the likes of Adam Matthews, Billy Jones and Donald Love.
Nonetheless, Grayson has revealed that he has been pleased with what he has seen of Browning and said, “I think there’s been some players that have contributed really well and said I’m ready to be picked.
“You’d look at someone like Tyias Browning, he’s come in the last couple of games and done really well. His application has been really good, as it has been with some of the other players.”
