Leeds United reportedly make an offer for 28-year-old Championship star

According to reports, Leeds United have made a bid to sign Bristol City defender Aden Flint. The 28-year-old Flint has been impressive after joining Bristol from Swindon Town in 2013.

He helped the club win promotion from League One to the Championship during the 2014/15 season and is also able to score goals, having notched an impressive 28 goals for his club, which included a famous hat-trick during a 8-2 victory over Walsall during the 2015/16 season.

Considering that Leeds are a team who will be aiming to challenge for promotion next season, a move to Elland Road may be appealing to Flint, a player now nearing the peak of his career.

The Whites have also identified Flint as a replacement for Kyle Bartley, who has returned to Swansea after the completion of his loan spell and they may push hard to sign the Bristol star.

New Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen is looking to build a squad that can challenge for promotion to the top flight and Flint would be a good signing.
