Everton are at the risk of losing England youth international Tom Davies to Chelsea according to The Sun.
As they prepare to defend their title next term, the Premier League champions want to add the 19-year-old midfielder amongst others to their ranks.
Davies impressed in his first full season with Everton last term, making 24 league appearances; with only 6 of those coming from the bench.
The academy graduate scored twice and assisted thrice on his way to emerging as the club’s Young Player of the Season.
No price has been quoted for the England under-19 skipper, but he wouldn’t come cheap considering he just signed an improved five-year contract in April.
Davies’ 5-star man-of-the-match performance in Everton’s 4-nil thrashing of Manchester City in January also earned him the club’s Goal of the Season and Performance of the Season awards.
Without a doubt, the teenage sensation is one of the most promising stars of the Premier League, with his ability to excel in deep, centre or attacking midfield eye-catching.
Considering Davies’ enormous potential, Everton would do well to hold on to one of their most valued possessions and should refuse listening to offers from bitter rivals.
