West Ham attacker reportedly wanted by French side

According to reports, French club Stade Rennes are considering a move for West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli.

The Algerian international Feghouli joined the Hammers on a free transfer last summer and though he scored four goals from 27 appearances in all competitions, he was considered to have failed to impress.

His ineffectiveness for Slaven Bilic’s side also saw him being left out of the Algeria squad which competed in the African Cup of Nations in January.

The East London club have been listening to offers for the 27-year-old and the recent arrival of Marko Arnautovic could be set to speed up his exit.

Feghouli is said to enjoy a good relationship with Rennes coach Christian Gourcuff, who also managed Algeria from 2012 to 2014 and this could speed up his sale to the French club.

Turkish giants Galatasary are also said to be interested in luring Feghouli and even submitted a £2 million, which they saw rejected by the Hammers.
