According to reports, Deportivo La Coruna are looking to sign Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles, who may be allowed to leave by Ronald Koeman.
The 27-year-old Robles played 20 games in the Premier League for the Toffees during the past season but failed to impress.
Though he started the season as the club’s second choice keeper, he won the number one position following unconvincing displays from Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Spanish international however, also failed to convince that he can be a long-term first choice keeper for the Merseyside club and they have bought Jordan Pickford as a result.
Pickford will be expected to start the new season as the clubs first choice keeper and is a very exciting young talent.
Deportivo are currently the favorites to land Robles though Getafe and Real Betis have also been reported to be interested. There is a good chance that the deal will go ahead given the circumstances at hand.
