Grasshopper Club Zurich vs PSV Eindhoven Club Friendly – Watch Live Online, TV Schedule July 18, 2017

This Tuesday, July 18, 2017 (10:00 AM Pacific) Grasshopper will host PSV for a friendly match at the Letzigrund in Zurich, Switzerland. Both teams are looking to bounce back this season after unimpressive seasons in their respective leagues.

Grasshopper had a disappointing 16-17 Swiss Super League campaign, finishing in eighth. This season should not be any easier with some key absences from the squad like the Brazilian, Caio Alves, who has made a move to Israel, Kim Kallstrom, who is back in Sweden and the Israeli striker, Munas Dabbur, who’s loan spell is over and is set to return to Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.

Red Bull Salzburg did loan over Austrian striker, Marco Djuricin to Grasshopper this offseason and a lot of weight will be on his shoulders to replace Dabbur. The game will be a tough test for the Swiss side but it should still be a contested clash in Zurich.

PSV Eindhoven finished third in the Eredivisie last season, which was a bit disappointing as the team is always looking to lift the title. Phillip Cocu lost some staples of the club this offseason with the departure of Hector Moreno to Roma and Andres Guardado to Real Betis. The splash signing of this offseason for the Dutch side was another Mexican player in Hirving Lozano.

The 21-year-old winger is coming over from Pachuca in the Liga MX and could play his first few minutes with his new team in this encounter. It will be interesting to see how “El Chucky” can fare against a European side and how he will adapt to the style of play with PSV. The team from Holland should be able to win this match but it could prove to be a difficult task away from home.
