After £54million deal, Tottenham reportedly reject another offer from Manchester City

According to reports, Tottenham have rejected an inquiry from Manchester City for Danny Rose.

The 27-year-old Rose has not played for Spurs since January 31 and has been suffering from a knee injury that could well see him miss the start of next season.

It appears that the only business Mauricio Pochettino’s team will be doing with the Citizens this summer is over the transfer of Kyle Walker.

After falling down the pecking order at the club towards the end of last season, Walker has joined Pep Guardiola’s team for a fee in the region of £54 million.

Rose is still regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League and it is unlikely that Spurs will want to let him go at this point. As a result, City will now need to turn their attention to signing Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.
