Club legend feels 30-year-old will be key to Rangers’ success

Former Rangers star Charlie Miller has said that new Gers signing Graham Dorrans should be a first pick in midfield for the club.

The 30-year-old Dorrans arrives at the Glasgow club from Norwich City with plenty of experience under his belt and he will be expected to play a big role in midfield for Pedro Caixinha’s side during the upcoming season.

Dorrans signed a three year contract with the club and becomes Caixinha’s ninth signing of the summer as he looks to re-establish the Gers as giants of Scottish football.

Miller said, “It has been a frustrating start obviously but Dorrans is a good football player and I am glad he is up the road. He wants to play for Rangers and he should be a good signing.

“He will definitely be one of the first names on the team sheet so hopefully he can hit the ground running and help the boys out.”
