According to reports, Sevilla have inquired about the possibility of loaning Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi next season after pulling out of an £8 million deal to sign him.
The sale is thought to have collapsed as a result of the player failing a medical with the Spanish outfit.
Villa owner Dr Tony Xia however has said that Amavi is in good condition and that the deal was called off by Sevilla. He also added that Villa officials were angry at the way in which they were treated by Sevilla.
Amavi joined the Villains from Nice during the summer of 2015, costing £7.7 million. He missed the majority of his first season through injury and has since gone on to play 48 times in all competitions for the club.
Villa are thought to not be interested in the prospect of a loan and still favor a sale. It remains to be seen what will happen with this case.
