According to reports, West Ham have failed with an improved bid of £20 million for Stoke City striker Marko Arnautovic.
The offer is a £5 million improvement on the first offer submitted by the Hammers this Monday, which has beenrejected by Stoke as well.
Arnautovic recently handed in a transfer request to the Potters and it illustrates that he is open to moving to the Hammers.
The Austrian joined the club four years ago and manager Mark Hughes is reportedly hesitant to part ways with the striker.
West Ham are looking to bolster their attack ahead of next season after Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll saw their seasons hampered by injuries.
The Hammers will be looking to add Arnautovic to the mix ahead of next season especially as he is a proven goal scorer at the highest level. One can expect that West Ham will soon come with yet another improved offer.
