West Ham reportedly on the verge of completing major deal

Joe Hart

According to reports, Joe Hart is closing in on sealing a loan deal with West Ham.

After being frozen out of Pep Guardiola’s first team plans at Manchester City, Hart was told that he is free to leave the club.

As a result, the 30-year-old Hart spent last season on loan with Torino but the Italian club could not keep him on a permanent basis as his salary would have been too costly.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is now set to offer Hart a return to the Premier League. He will need to play regularly in order to secure his place as England first choice shot-stopper for the 2018 World Cup and this will be the perfect opportunity.

Newcastle United were thought to be interested in signing Hart though they are thought to have found the financial package prohibitive.

Everton similarly are thought to have been interested but they have managed to sign Jordan Pickford from Sunderland instead.
