According to reports, Liverpool have turned down the chance to sign Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez.
Reports have emerged recently suggesting that La Liga giants Madrid have offered the Colombian star to a number of major clubs including Liverpool as they look to offload him in order to fund the purchases of other players which they are aiming to recruit this summer.
However, it has now emerged that Jurgen Klopp has rejected the chance to bring Rodriguez to Anfield.
Though he struggled to earn regular game time with the Champions League winners last season, Rodriguez is still regarded as a fine attacker and will not be short of offers. He is likely to come with a heavy price tag and this may have been a turnoff to Klopp.
Elsewhere Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo has been linked with loan moves to Middlesbrough and Newcastle. The youngster will look to go on loan ahead of next season in order to gain more experience.
