According to reliable journalist Gianluigi Longari, Leeds United are on the verge of signing Chievo Verona striker Caleb Ekuban.
Ekuban is a product of the youth development system of Chievo but has yet to make an appearance for the senior side and had various youth spells.

Considering his age, it may now be the right time for Ekuban to move on in search of a team that can offer him regular first team football on a permanent deal.
During a loan spell with Albanian side FK Partizan last season, Ekuban displayed some impressive form, playing 42 matches for the club in all competitions and scoring 18 goals while recording five assists.
It is uncertain as to whether the striker will be able to succeed in England however he is unlikely to be expensive and could be a worthwhile gamble. The signing would make sense as the Whites also need extra cover and support for Chris Wood next season.
