Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken time to speak about Rangers and their current plight.

Sutton, in case you aren’t familiar with him, is a former joint top goal scorer in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers, and scored nearly a goal every two matches for the Hoops during his stay at Parkhead.

The former striker now has a column with the Daily Record, and he has made some interesting comments. First he said that “after a shocker of a week, it’s done nothing but enforce that belief,” when referring to a previous article that he said they were doomed under Pedro Caixinha.

Sutton then goes on to say that the Light Blues are forced to stick with him now, though, after they have invested in bringing in his players.

This is the point that is the most important here. He’s right. IF they were to move on now, they’d be forcing a new manager to mold another manager’s parts into the team. That often means chopping and changing, and sometimes can lead to a lot of wasted talent- and money- being left to rot on the bench.
