According to reports, Newcastle United are interested in signing Adama Traore from Middlesbrough.
The former Aston Villa man Traore wants to leave Boro after the team were relegated from the Premier League last season and he has since been linked with the likes of Levante, Real Betis and Eibar.
Boro are said to be interested in signing Magpies goalkeeper Karl Darlow after two of their goalkeepers left the club as a result of their relegation. Boro boss Garry Monk is a fan of Darlow and will likely continue trying to sign him.
Though the 26-year-old Darlow has indicated that he wishes to remain with the Magpies, he has been told that he can find a new club as manager Rafa Benitez wants to sign a new experienced goalkeeper and has been linked with Pepe Reina as well as Joe Hart over recent weeks.
As a result, Darlow could be used by Newcastle to aide their attempts of signing Traore and a swap deal could take place.
