Leeds United reportedly launch £3million offer for attacker

Leeds United have reportedly made a £3.1million offer to sign Huesca forward Samu Saiz. The 26-year-old Saiz had first been linked with the Whites last summer with former boss Garry Monk having considered signing him.

Monk left the club at the end of last season and has joined Middlesbrough, while Leeds are now managed by Thomas Christiansen.

It appears that the club are still looking to sign Saiz, who is likely to leave Huesca, considering that he has just one year left on his current contract with the Spanish second division side.

Though the offer from Leeds is reportedly the best thus far, they may have to face competition from Eibar, who are also said to be keen.

The Yorkshire giants narrowly missed out on a place in the promotion playoffs place last season and will be looking to bolster their side this summer in order to try and launch a Premier League promotion push next season.
