Newcastle United miss out on major target

Tammy Abraham has joined Swansea and turned down the chance to link up with Newcastle United. Magpies boss Rafa Benitez reportedly held talks with Abraham in order to persuade him to join his club but he has since decided on a move to the Swans.

The England under-21 international, Abraham, showed promise last season by scoring 26 goals from 50 matches in all competitions for Championship outfit Bristol City. Abraham is playing so well, that it is definitely worth getting football tickets to watch this up and coming player.

He may not as yet be ready to don the jersey of parent club Chelsea but the upcoming season will be the youngster’s perfect opportunity to make a name for himself in the Premier League.

He had reportedly been offered the prospect of regular first team action at Newcastle but found the opportunity to be reunited with former boss Paul Clement as something that is too good to turn down.

There is no doubt that Swansea will have at their disposal one of the most talented young forwards in English football.
