West Ham reportedly set to bid £15million for 26-year-old attacker

According to reports, West Ham United are set to launch a £15 million bid for Burnley striker Andre Gray.

West Ham are keen to add new forwards this summer and have been linked with the likes of Javier Hernandez of Bayer Leverkusen, Anthony Modeste of Cologne as well as Cedric Bakambu of Villarreal.

The Hammers are said to be interested in signing the 26-year-old Gray as well, who bagged nine goals last season for the Cherries.

Though West Ham failed in their attempts to sign the player in January, things may be easier this time around. Gray has just one more year left on his current contract and Burnley will know that should they not cash in now, they could risk losing the striker for free next summer.

The Cherries are said to have lined up Stoke City veteran Jon Walters as a possible replacement for Gray so they may already be aware that they could lose him.
