According to reports, Newcastle United have displayed an interest in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Rafa Benitez is considering signing the England first choice goalkeeper as he looks to add Premier League experience to his squad.
The Magpies have also considered signing Willy Cabellero, who recently joined Chelsea, as well as Napoli shot-stopper Pepe Reina as they look to increase competition on Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot.
Hart has been frozen out of Manchester City’s future plans by Pep Guardiola and will be looking to join a new club this summer in order to retain his place within the England squad.
He spent last season on loan with Italian club Torino but left at the end of the season as the club were not able to pay his wages on a long term basis.
Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be considering bids for Hart should they lose David De Gea or Thibaut Courtois respectively.
