According to reports, West Ham United have turned down a transfer offer from Mexican club Tigres for Enner Valencia.
Following an impressive 2014 World Cup with Ecuador, Valencia earned himself a move from Mexican side Pachucha to West Ham that summer for £12.5 million.
The Ecuador international has since struggled for consistency in England though and has only netted 10 goals in 66 appearances for the Hammers.
After being informed that he was no longer part of Slaven Bilic’s first team plans last summer, Valencia spent this past season on loan with Everton. During his season with Ronald Koeman’s side, he managed only three goals from 23 appearances and the club opted not to sign him on a permanent basis.
Therefore, Valencia will likely leave West Ham this summer. He has struggled to adapt to life in England and will also be looking to find a club which will allow him to rediscover his love for the game.
