West Ham captain Mark Noble has admitted that his club may be priced out of deals for targets as their rival clubs may be able to pay higher fees.
Following a disappointing past season, the Hammers are looking to add in new additions to their side this summer. Thus far, former Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta is the only player to have joined the club.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Olivier Giroud and Steve Mouni have all been linked with moves to the East London club, though it remains to be seen whether moves for the trio will end up materializing.
Noble has said that his side will need strengthen but admitted that acquiring targets may be difficult as rival clubs may have more spending power. He said, “I think we need to get a few in. I’m sure the chairman is working tirelessly to get them in but this market is so hard.
“Players are so expensive now and you get priced out. We’re competing with so many other teams to get the players we want.”
