Former West Ham defender reportedly set for League Two move

According to reports, Cheltenham Town are interested in signing West Ham defender Kyle Knoyle.

Knoyle is a product of the West Ham youth setup and signed a two year contract with the side in 2015. However he had failed to establish himself within the first team of the squad and ended up moving on from the London Stadium at the end of this past season.

After becoming surplus to requirements at the Hammers, Knoyle underwent a trial with Portsmouth at recently, though nothing has materialized.

However, considering that Knoyle has represented England at youth level, he will likely not be short of offers from clubs.

Knoyle is sure to find a new club next season as he looks to play first team football on a regular basis and Cheltenham is a possible destination for the youngster.

Cheltenham are looking to bolster their side and have made additions to their side including Kevin Dawson, Jamie Grimes and Nigel Atangana.
