Stuart Armstrong is ready to talk with the Celtic management about his new deal, which could keep him at Celtic Park for several years more. The midfielder was one of the vital parts in the wonderful season for Celtic, and he contributed hugely in the Hoops winning the incredible treble.

Many clubs had been attracted by his excellent performances last term, but during the campaign, Armstrong had agreed with manager Brendan Rodgers not to participate in any speculations or debates about his future until the season ends.

The 25-year-old is now ready to negotiate, and the Bhoys are also willing to offer him an extension under different terms.

Armstrong said, “That was something we had talked about and had decided to leave until the season was finished and then we would pick things up again from there. I’m sure we will take care of that soon.”

At the moment, Armstrong has just one more year on his current contract. Several clubs from English Premier League are closely monitoring the situation, and are waiting for their chance to step in. Brighton, Burnley and West Bromwich Albion, are among these clubs.

Armstrong has expressed his eagerness to stay in Celtic, saying that the previous campaign was the happiest time of his life.
