West Ham United star Manuel Lanzini feels that he is now a more mature player.
Lanzini was arguably one of the best Hammers players this past season and saw his good performances rewarded by earning himself a call up to the Argentina national team.
The 24-year-old Lanzini has now said about the past season, “I am more mature now. I am more stable, which is very important. I also have more personality. I am feeling good and have confidence.
“I am sometimes playing as right winger and sometimes in the middle – it all depends the way we play at West Ham.”
The versatile Lanzini initially joined the Hammers on loan before the deal was made permanent last summer.
Though West Ham struggled for form and consistency last term, Lanzini completed an impressive 69% of take ons, while at the same time also creating 56 chances for his side. There is no doubt that he will be central to manager Slaven Bilic’s plans for next season.
