West Ham attacker reportedly set for Turkey move

According to reports, West Ham attacker Enner Valencia could be loaned to Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas ahead of next season.

Valencia spent the past season on loan with Everton who decided against keeping the player permanently at Goodison Park for £10 million. He is also not a part of Hammers boss Slaven Bilic’s future plans.

After arriving at West Ham from Mexican club Pachucha in 2014 for £12 million, Valencia scored 10 goals from 61 appearances for the club.

Mexican club Cruz Azul are reportedly also interested in signing Valencia though they may have difficulty paying his £35,000 per week wages, which will mean that Besiktas will be in the lead in the race to sign the Ecuador international.

West Ham will likely be keen to offload Valencia during this summer in order to free up space on their roster as well as on their salary payments. The East London club are expected to do a lot of transfers this summer.
