Claudio Ranieri will not consider becoming new manager of Leeds United according to new reports. Following the departure of former Leeds boss, Garry Monk last month, speculation has suggested that Ranieri could be the next manager to arrive at Elland Road.
Ranieri last managed Leicester City, with whom he shocked the Football World by guiding to English Premiership glory during the 2015-16 season.
However after a series of unconvincing performances from the Foxes this past season, during which they flirted with relegation, Ranieri was sacked as manager and has been without a job since.
The manager of Ranieri has now appeared to dismiss rumors suggesting that Ranieri could become the new manager of Leeds and said, “There’s no truth to the rumours.”
It is unlikely that Ranieri will manage a club that is not playing top flight football. The veteran manager will surely attract offers from top flight clubs based on what he managed to achieve with Leicester.
