Arsenal will reportedly have to compete against the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Paris-Saint Germain and Monaco in the race to sign Riyadh Mahrez.
After making a promise to Leicester City that he would play for the club for one more season following their shock Premier League title win during the 2015-16 season, Mahrez has said that he wishes to depart from the Foxes.
French Ligue 1 Champions Monaco are said to be eyeing Mahrez as a replacement for Bernado Silva, who joined Manchester City recently. Cash rich PSG are also said to be keen on bringing the Algerian international to France.
It is likely that Arsenal will beat Spurs in the race to sign Mahrez due to the fact that they can offer him more assurances of first team football. For the Gunners, the threat of the French duo Monaco and PSG will be the biggest obstacle to completing the signing.
