West Brom are reportedly ready to battle Newcastle United for the signature of Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs.
Gibbs has just one year left on his current deal at the Emirates and it is likely that the London giants will consider selling the 27-year-old Gibbs considering that he lies behind Nacho Monreal in the Arsenal pecking order.
In addition, the arrival of Sead Kolasinac, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, could see him becoming surplus to requirements.
A fee of £7.5 million is believed to be sufficient enough for the Gunners to sell. Since making his Arsenal first team debut in 2007, Gibbs has made 229 appearances for Arsenal.
He will add in a lot of experience to whichever side he joins and his fast pace will be useful to both Newcastle and the Baggies.
Should West Brom follow through with a bid for Gibbs, they could cool down their interest in signing Leeds defender Charlie Taylor.
