West Ham and Brighton both reportedly keen on 30-year-old free agent

West Ham and Brighton and Hove Albion are two clubs that are said to be monitoring free agent and former Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy, who is said to keen to play for a Premier League club.

he 30-year-old Ruddy left Norwich recently after a seven year spell with the Canaries.

Brighton could step up their interest for Ruddy should they lose first choice shot-stopper David Stockdale, who has been linked with a move to Leeds United.

Stockdale’s contract expires at the end of the month and he is also yet to sign an extension with Albion, which fuels speculation that he is preparing to leave.

West Ham have been linked following their goalkeeping issues this past season and may consider bringing Ruddy to their side in order to provide competition for Adrian and Darren Randolph.

Ruddy made 238 appearances in all competitions during his stint with Norwich and whichever club signs him, they will get a quality keeper with Premier League experience under his belt.
